with the combined power of the Captain and Sparkles under her control, Malin has made a few adjustments to the running of the realm. namely, it is no longer a cruise ship. it looks more like a frigate, with one long hall running the center of it and the bridge now enclosed in the forward superstructure.



(which is that thing that looks like a dalek btw.)

along the hall are the former cabins, now converted into barred cells. communication between cells is limited, at this time, to shouting at the cell across and catty-corner from you.

all powers have been negated. all regains have vanished, including all material possessions and gifts from the Erda. in fact, all items have vanished; mobility aids included. all passengers are dressed in only prison togs. you know the ones. the black and white stripes.

every half hour, Friday walks down the hall, completely silent and acknowledging no one.

there is no food. there is no water. hopefully you figure out that you never needed it at all.

all combined, this offers you a chilling challenge: to find a way out.

of note:

there are no doors to the cells: they are simply barred, spaced too close together for even Fio to slip through. they cannot be budged with normal human strength.

everything that has been previously stated to be stored within the artifact storage room is still there, though it is also behind bars.

other than her supernatural thralls and her connection to the Fog, Malin is a normal human, though one with a gun and a dinosaur. she can be killed by any normal means.

if the Fog makes contact with a character, an insanity event will trigger, and they will have to roll for survival.

deaths are now semi-permanent, in the sense that dying will remove a character from play during endgame. revival post-game is highly likely, but not certain.

you have made friends along the way. keep an eye out for them.

ICly, starting on the first of September, a poster board will be set up in front of guest services. it’s simple, just two sections of text. the first, in large letters:

THERE’S ANIMALS THIS TIME, YOU FUCKING WEIRDOS.

and then, in slightly smaller print under that:

Sorry for the awful language, everybody! I had to write it verbatim! Um, it’s a beach day, this time! There’s a tropical island! Real animals, I think! Lots of non-death fun! Please don’t die! - GF

no sign-up sheet goes up on Friday's desk. perhaps this will be a nice, quiet month?

ICly, on May 1st, passengers will be told about an upcoming shore excursion to begin on the 10th, and that sign-ups will be located at the guest services desk.

At the top of the sign-up sheet, the excursion is described as such: "Enjoy a three-day, three-night camping visit to a secluded tropical island! Activity Level: Strenuous."
