MAY EVENT INFO/SIGN UPS

ICly, on May 1st, passengers will be told about an upcoming shore excursion to begin on the 10th, and that sign-ups will be located at the guest services desk.

At the top of the sign-up sheet, the excursion is described as such: "Enjoy a three-day, three-night camping visit to a secluded tropical island! Activity Level: Strenuous."

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE
WE GOT FUN AND MURDER GAMES

On May 10th, any characters that sign up for the shore excursion will be led by Friday to a tender docked outside the ship. She will not enter alongside them, and the reason for this will be immediately clear upon the tender being sealed: It immediately fills with a thick smoke, rendering all characters unconscious.

They will wake later, dressed in Japanese school uniforms and wearing metal collars around their necks, in a nondescript room with an old TV, in which Gal, in appropriate cosplay, explains the rules of the excursion: Over the course of three days, all characters will fight to the death, with the last one standing being allowed to return to the ship alive. If no character kills on the first day, everyone dies: their collars will inject them with a fatal dose of strychnine. (This will also occur if they seriously attempt to take the collar off.) And, for anyone who doesn't immediately believe that... Gal will, of course, demonstrate. She will also unlock a cabinet, which will reveal a collection of duffel bags embroidered with each character's name: this bag contains three days of water and military rations, some basic camping/survival gear, and a random weapon (to be assigned). After that, a door will open, releasing them into a seemingly uninhabited tropical island, full of plant life and sandy beaches, but otherwise no signs of life.

After that? They should probably get running.

The first day of deaths will be decided with a coin toss: heads will live, and tails will die. Murders will be up to players to plan and/or thread out. The "winners" of day one will be further winnowed in a similar way on Day 2. On Day 3, everyone remaining will compete with dice rolls, with the highest number winning the right to survive. Yay!

Dead passengers will wake up back onboard the following day, no physically worse for the wear. And, don't worry: Passengers that don't sign up will be more than able to involve themselves in the activities! Every screen onboard will be playing the game, including those in their cabins, with full sound. There will also be a betting pool set up in the atrium, where you can put your name down on who you think the winner will be! The winner of the pool will receive a lovely toy model of the Serena Eterna.

SIGN-UPS CLOSE MAY 1ST
