it's very sad, i'm admittedly still salty about some of the character choices they made. but some arcs were super good and satisfying, so my overall reaction is just "meh".
i feel that about bly manor too. it was not my favorite, hill house is by far superior in my opinion. i'm also a big fan of the amount of long-takes they had, and didn't see quite the same magic reflected in bly manor. but it also had it's moments. my main draw was for sure being able to watch the actors stretch their chops and turn into completely different people than they were in hill house.
It amuses me seeing the one for Luke's actor. Lemme go grab it off tumblr really quick. ...Oh my god why are there so many. The first is the one that I've seen a lot, the other two are new to me. But still satisfying.
these are so alarmingly accurate omfg!!! it took me like, an entire episode to realize they were the same actor bc accent & the swap between tormented cinnamon roll and weird creepy slickback sleezeball

I haven't gotten to Bly Manor, got super uncomfy with the first episode and haven't really...touched it since? But I did like them reusing faces too!
