Get it? Like "personal," but PLOT... Oh, don't give me that look!

The Serena Eterna has some fun new idiosyncrasies these days, from repairs becoming monthly to food being in inconvenient supply, but routines are routines, baby! Standing dinner dates with friends, favorite hangouts, and extremely rational blood feuds are common occurrences for people who have been living at sea for upwards of a year now! And even new passengers may find themselves with their own habits, if they haven't been absorbed into those of their fellow passengers.

This meme is here to help flesh out the background moments that help fuel character relationships. Post your characters and their routines, then see who else might be stalking the buffet at 2 AM or who you might run into on laundry day. After all, the ship is home to a whole host of strange people; you're rarely the only one around.

1. Post a comment with your character's name & cabin number in the header, and give us an idea of what sort of things they get up to around the ship! Be as detailed or as vague as you'd like.
2. Talk about what kind of handwaved CR you might inspire! Is your character the type to stop and chat with friends on the promenade? Are they consistently the highest score on multiple arcade cabinets? IDK, you tell us!
3. When you look at other characters' routines, you might notice some moments that line up! Even if your characters are total strangers, they might see each other at the buffet every day, or maybe they're unwittingly competing for the high score on DDR. And close CR might mean weekly dinners, book clubs, sparring sessions every morning... like I said, this is where you shine!!
4. This is also a good chance to handwave characters exchanging contact information, generating some more inbox threads!

SURPRISE, IT'S A PLOTTING MEME: If you're looking for specific things to do with your character, from finding like-minded individuals to work towards escape to looking for romance in all the right places, let people know! You never know, two people who eat dinner at the same time may find that they have a lot of shared dreams and desires! Bait your plot hooks and snag a big one, or something, whatever, metaphors are dumb!

TLDR: write about your character's life on the ship and then compare notes with other people, find CR and plot hooks, ???, profit

Natsuno definitely hangs out around Voyager in some nights, in the arcade or the top decks. He knows that the "kid" isn't really a kid and can handle himself, but he's definitely concerned about his long term survival without a Master. I figure that Natsuno's new glowing sword would grab his attention...

He would 100% try to firmly talk him out of the excursion.

Night hangouts should definitely be a thing!! Esp with the more nocturnal lifestyle Natsuno's leading lately huh, aww...Voyager would be very happy to vibe with him in the arcade or strolling around the top decks!

Revi Natsuno's guilt wrt the Dioscuri when it comes to him worrying abt Voyager holding up while Master-less is still punching me in the heart every time ugh...tbh I'd love for them to chat some more about the nature of Servants sometime! Even if Voyager is absolutely terrible at explaining things, and only sort of has a rough understanding of Servant-hood himself...but he is weirdly self-sustaining for a Servant too, and maybe Natsuno could use the roundabout assurance that Voyager isn't going to outright evaporate without a Master one day like normal Servants would. (Even if having a Master is still pretty helpful from a more tactical perspective...! His magic batteries are very limited like this admittedly whoops)

Could definitely see Natsuno making a very firm and blunt case about not excursioning either, bless him. Actually, do you think this is something you'd like to thread, or something you'd rather handwave? Looking at the thread Natsuno and Voyager have going rn, I'd say we could reach a gentle wrap there fairly soon where we handwave them eventually rummaging through the Tommy Bahama chairs & umbrellas for Natsuno's sun-resistant mask materials, if we'd like to start on something new for this month! But ofc that's entirely up to you, I can roll with whatever 👍 EITHER WAY these two have had such cute threads so far, I love it...

Night hangouts would be cute... Voyager's solitary streak would fit with Natsuno's, they can just vibe and do whatever, talk or play a game or just hang out at a distance like cats.

I think I'd like to thread a warning, since it can easily segue into a Servant talk with Natsuno worried over Voyager spending all his energy in a bad situation. He'll do his best to ask the right questions and navigate Voyager's awful explanations!!

And yeah we can definitely wrap up the Tommy Bahama thread soon, once they're done talking about other people we can handwave them going through the clothes.
