Always a difficult question to answer given the many kinds of intelligence. Erin's definitely cunning; she thinks fast in a crisis, she's used to working with available materials, she's genuinely curious about other people and new information. But she's also uneducated in many ways, a fact she keenly regrets.

She used to be such a bookish child. That girl really did die when she was taken.

Though Erin's primary expertise was largely self-taught, she taught it to herself with a foundation given by mentors, teachers, and lovers. She still prefers to learn directly from other people, one-on-one if she can but a class will do just fine. Often Erin struggles to even start if she has to try to teach herself something from first principles or out of a book, and strains to maintain motivation to work alone.

Before she became blind Erin was very much a pile person of the "Well I know where it is" school of thought. Afterwards she's become much more concerned with things being where they belong but the original flavor still peeks through; in particular, storage furniture rarely stores just one kind of thing. Her wardrobe here on the ship also contains the blocks of wood she received, f'rinstance, and as far as Erin's concerned under the bed is a perfectly valid part of the room to stash things in.

She is, however, meticulous about her armaments and tools; getting ready for the day is almost ritualistic.
