Handwaved CR Meme

The passengers have been living on this ship for a while now, and it's likely that they've fallen into certain habits and routines. Little things have become part of their day, from lunch dates with friends, to quiet nights in the library, or long-standing blood feuds. Even the newest passengers have likely found themselves some common haunts and familiar faces. This is a meme to talk about, flesh out, and collaborate on some of those behind-the-scenes moments and routines!

1. Post a comment with your character, and give us an idea of what sort of things they get up to around the ship! Be as detailed or as vague as you'd like.
2. Talk about what kind of handwaved CR you can inspire! Is your character the type to stop and chat with friends on the promenade? Are they consistently the highest score on multiple arcade cabinets? IDK, you tell me!
3. When you look at other characters' routines, you might notice some moments that line up! Even if your characters are total strangers, they might see each other at the buffet every day, or maybe they're unwittingly competing for the high score on DDR. And close CR might mean weekly dinners, book clubs, sparring sessions every morning... like I said, this is where you shine!!
4. This is also a good chance to handwave characters exchanging contact information, generating some more inbox threads!

TLDR: write about your character's life on the ship and then compare notes with other people, find CR, ???, profit

ALL! He's an absolute sugar/dessert fiend! He eats ice cream daily normally (not during the event where it's not restocked though.)

Konpeito is his "favorite." In that he literally was given them as "offerings"/tributes (in exchange with the missionaries, Luis Frois & co. for the "rights" to build orphanages and churches in Japan under Oda's rule -- basically he was like "Fuck yes infrastructure me AND build a rivalry to the fucking buddhists and Taoists fuck those dudes" But he had a DEMON KING reputation and had to make it look like he's EXTRA EVIL not favoring Christianity so he was like "GIVE ME A TREASURE NO ONE ELSE IN THE WORLD HAS BWAHAHAHAHAHA") and says they have magical healing powers and he will cure the whole of Japan by destroying the castes so everyone can have as much candy as they want. So his actual literal dream/ambition/identity is tied into konpeito. But I want to torture him see what happens if he runs out, so he's holding onto what he's got, and only uses it when he needs an emergency pick-me-up -- usually when he's talking about konpeito in emotional form (super sweet, sugary, ungodly expensive to create, source, have the time for, cute, fluffy, all things that would melt in hell) being his ultimate weakness lol.

Otherwise he'll try anything. He likes NEW THINGS like an *addict.* Novelty 24/7. But chocolate + salt is a little intense (subtle/bitter) for him. (Chocolate only BARELY became a thing in Spain in the 16th century, NOT AT ALL in Portugal nor Japan)

I've just been assuming the claw machine gets either chupa chups - because that's the ones they stick in the claw machines in Japan that are STUPIDLY HARD. Japan always going hardcore s2f. The candy claw ones Stateside are play until you win, so I always did those, and fr Nobunaga would like all of them, though his favorites would be BRIGHT FUCKING COLORS (just ask Mitsuhide about the NORMAL design for the castle he made and then the one that Nobunaga wound up with. RAINBOWS NEON AHHHHHHh) cinnamon, and then like cherry and slightly recognizably sweet. By which I mean, watermelon, WACKY flavors (blue raspberry, SHNOZZBERRY, banana, etc. are still very very cool to him, just recognizably "fruit"). But taffy, therefore airheads, etc. = good. Bubblegum is a no go, because the idea of constantly chewing something is beyond his grasp (Who's a five year old? YES HE IS) and the flavor is too "weird." Blow Pops are fine, because their candy shell is "normal" flavors, and then he'd just... eat the gum. :|||| But pop rocks he'd really like, "It's like eating fireworks \o/" and nerds and most rock candy ^ are derivatives of konpeito so yes. Hard candies he DOES somehow have patience to suck on forever. So everlasting gobstoppers (the IRL not fictional versions, because if the candy doesn't actually dissolve and give him a sugar rush, then he doesn't want it!!!) could be his favorite, but he hasn't be introduced yet.

TLDR: hard, BRIGHTLY FUCKING COLORED AS FUCK, like a rainbow spit them out for being TOO MUCH or too cute, and IRONICALLY what we all now view as cheap and dirty (plentiful as hell). Like nerds/taffy, those literal penny candies. VS. the high class chocolates, maple candy, gums, anything with like gold, or those ridiculously exorbitant dried fruits, things with saffron, liqueurs, things relying on nuts, etc. = "No!" Think: 5 year old looking for their next sugar fix and yeah. There you go. That's Nobuanga. Pity his poor generals.
