Handwaved CR Meme

The passengers have been living on this ship for a while now, and it's likely that they've fallen into certain habits and routines. Little things have become part of their day, from lunch dates with friends, to quiet nights in the library, or long-standing blood feuds. Even the newest passengers have likely found themselves some common haunts and familiar faces. This is a meme to talk about, flesh out, and collaborate on some of those behind-the-scenes moments and routines!

1. Post a comment with your character, and give us an idea of what sort of things they get up to around the ship! Be as detailed or as vague as you'd like.
2. Talk about what kind of handwaved CR you can inspire! Is your character the type to stop and chat with friends on the promenade? Are they consistently the highest score on multiple arcade cabinets? IDK, you tell me!
3. When you look at other characters' routines, you might notice some moments that line up! Even if your characters are total strangers, they might see each other at the buffet every day, or maybe they're unwittingly competing for the high score on DDR. And close CR might mean weekly dinners, book clubs, sparring sessions every morning... like I said, this is where you shine!!
4. This is also a good chance to handwave characters exchanging contact information, generating some more inbox threads!

TLDR: write about your character's life on the ship and then compare notes with other people, find CR, ???, profit

Maeve Millay, Room 104

Maeve spends a good amount of time wandering around in the middle of the night when she can't sleep. Usually she spends a good amount of time out by the pool when that happens. Sometimes she's just generally around the deck, too. To be fair, Maeve spends a lot of time in general at the pools, trying all the different fruity drinks because it's a fun time and she likes to.

She doesn't need to, but she does make a point of eating at regular intervals. She eats breakfast usually at the buffet, but dinner usually depends on her mood.

She tends to frequent Tauva since that's got the good, strong alcohol.

Uhh...she's happy to text people or just communicate with the people that she likes. She's definitely someone to shoot off little texts if she hasn't seen someone she knows well in a couple days like ??????

Ruby will definitely be trying to keep up with Maeve fairly regularly, she might pop to her table at breakfast sometimes and stuff like that, and sometimes she'll hop on into the pool too. You may have been lowkey reverse adopted Maeve.

Aw. Yes. Maeve is okay with this. She's going to keep Ruby as well. She'll be happy to see her at breakfast and random other times, too.

Steven will at some point ask her somewhere. When he gets his Ghibli box set or Billy Joel or whatever. Without realising he's asking her out of course.

;-; Steven. Maeve will quietly wonder, but she's going to go with him wherever he asks b/c he asked, so that's rly all it takes. She'll probably bother him about things here and there, too. Just ask him questions about random things. She'll probably ask if he's gone to the place with the piano that plays on its own.

I am down! I am setting up disco party stuff for Sharky, but it could be somewhere around that.

He's probably invited himself over to sit with her in Tauva from time to time. And he'll nod to her if he sees her walking the decks. Insomnia buddies.

She is perfectly fine with this. She'll make pleasant conversation with him, I'm sure. Ask how he's doing. Especially once the flyers go up. Rip. Sorry. He's welcome to interrupt her late night walks. She's mostly just staring at the sky and at the water if she's not swimming.

He's going to be visibly very upset about the flyers so it might be good to have a calming presence asking if he's okay. Though, he is so resistant to talking about his feelings.

She's sorry for the rude comments. She's surprised Stede would do that, but...she'll just check in with him and be sure to let him know he's quite handsome, so not to worry.

Her calling him handsome will soothe his ego more than he's willing to admit out loud. (Teach him to get over himself while you're at it.)
