Handwaved CR Meme

The passengers have been living on this ship for a while now, and it's likely that they've fallen into certain habits and routines. Little things have become part of their day, from lunch dates with friends, to quiet nights in the library, or long-standing blood feuds. Even the newest passengers have likely found themselves some common haunts and familiar faces. This is a meme to talk about, flesh out, and collaborate on some of those behind-the-scenes moments and routines!

1. Post a comment with your character, and give us an idea of what sort of things they get up to around the ship! Be as detailed or as vague as you'd like.
2. Talk about what kind of handwaved CR you can inspire! Is your character the type to stop and chat with friends on the promenade? Are they consistently the highest score on multiple arcade cabinets? IDK, you tell me!
3. When you look at other characters' routines, you might notice some moments that line up! Even if your characters are total strangers, they might see each other at the buffet every day, or maybe they're unwittingly competing for the high score on DDR. And close CR might mean weekly dinners, book clubs, sparring sessions every morning... like I said, this is where you shine!!
4. This is also a good chance to handwave characters exchanging contact information, generating some more inbox threads!

TLDR: write about your character's life on the ship and then compare notes with other people, find CR, ???, profit

- Has drones around the public areas of the ship almost all the time. These drones are about a centimeter in diameter and have a propeller at the top. They do not enter private areas like cabins, the sauna, the showers at Calgona spa.

- Eats meals at the buffet almost always (occasionally can be found at Scoops). Defaults to dino chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. Does not eat its vegetables.

- Occasionally found on deck/in library doing art. Has a pack of metallic gel pens and a set of watercolor paints. It's still learning, be kind to it.

- It's glad to show people serial dramas from its world on a media player it received as a regain. Most commonly this is The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon, but it has others (Worldhoppers, A Ship Called Excalibur).

- It's being trained as a medical assistant by Watson, and if its drones spot things like injuries and hangovers, it might show up to help.

What the fuck happens if someone takes one of the drones and tries to dissect it? JUST ASKING.

- Yeah Nobunaga might try to do that. :T

They'd have to catch one of the drones first. MB sees someone trying that, it'd pilot them higher.

Oh good.

They now have a game. Every time Nobunaga sees one, he's going to try to catch it, and there will be a grappling hook and rope at least one of these times. Maybe a net.

Pal would very much enjoy watching serials with Murderbot! I can see them doing this semi-regularly.

ever since they talked about sanctuary moon skulduggery's wanted to watch some, so maybe mb has shown him a few episodes???

they probably have spent time in the library together, just doing their own things in each other's presence too

going forward after the island i can definitely see skulduggery trying to aim for more interactions that are quiet and relatively free of questions too. mb got him feeling a certain way about how he handles friendships and he wants to do better, ok :(

Ruby probably waves at the drones when she sees them around, honestly. She'll also still definitely be down for serials watching sessions, and either during one of those if she saw it in the library she might have shown it the book of Fairy Tales from her world? Sharing interests! And stuff!

(also MB and its drones can definitely spot Jeff seriously drunk / hungover from time to time, though-- on the upside!-- less frequently than he used to be)

MB would never admit it. But it loves the songs and sometimes the drones bob midair to the music as if they're dancing.

Also, considering some of the drones have speakers, one may have sang back, playing music from the Corporate Rim in MB's universe.

(But MB itself will never do so in person. Ever. It is srs bsns.)

I would love for Murderbot to mention the serials to Number 6 some time and get him to watch some. Number 6 might find they are actually pretty enjoyable (and in color, ooooh.)

Also, I got the chalk pastels and art pads approved so more art times!
