Handwaved CR Meme

The passengers have been living on this ship for a while now, and it's likely that they've fallen into certain habits and routines. Little things have become part of their day, from lunch dates with friends, to quiet nights in the library, or long-standing blood feuds. Even the newest passengers have likely found themselves some common haunts and familiar faces. This is a meme to talk about, flesh out, and collaborate on some of those behind-the-scenes moments and routines!

1. Post a comment with your character, and give us an idea of what sort of things they get up to around the ship! Be as detailed or as vague as you'd like.
2. Talk about what kind of handwaved CR you can inspire! Is your character the type to stop and chat with friends on the promenade? Are they consistently the highest score on multiple arcade cabinets? IDK, you tell me!
3. When you look at other characters' routines, you might notice some moments that line up! Even if your characters are total strangers, they might see each other at the buffet every day, or maybe they're unwittingly competing for the high score on DDR. And close CR might mean weekly dinners, book clubs, sparring sessions every morning... like I said, this is where you shine!!
4. This is also a good chance to handwave characters exchanging contact information, generating some more inbox threads!

TLDR: write about your character's life on the ship and then compare notes with other people, find CR, ???, profit

Sharky's a common sight in the bars across the ship (especially Hurikane and Tauva), as well as the pool and hot tub. Late-night skinny dipping in the hot tub is a thing, and he will not be shamed out of it! Since the sauna is one of the few pants-free sanctuaries on board, Sharky visits at least once or twice a week.

He also spends like, soooo much time wandering around the Tommy Bahama. Like, he probably walks an hour both ways into the store just looking at the awful shirts like "this is a good deal (free)." He'll try on stuff right there in the shop, because who the fuck is gonna care???

Most of the meals he gets are gonna be at the buffet. He doesn't trust the sushi joint not to shank him, TBH. He brings his boombox with him sometimes, jamming out to whatever CDs he has available (right now its 80s music). He'll hit up the arcade from time to time but he's mostly just invested in reliving his childhood than actually landing on any scoreboards.

probably some other stuff??? idk, i really didn't think this through. OH he really likes texting and if he's exchanged contact info with someone he WILL text them. (i'm just real bad at keeping up with it so sometimes he doesn't LMFAO)

he ALWAYS responds and will inform accurately whether or not something will explode, occasionally with an anecdote about getting put in jail or burning down a house

as for specific occasionnnnns that's something that we'll have to sit on until something comes up that would work, ik there's a potential disco party soon... of course if johnny just flat out said "come with me i'm doing your hair," sharky wouldddddddd probably just follow!!!! because he's painfully easy to lead around and likes when people think he has potential lmfao

Oh hey Steve also spends a stupid amount of time in the Tommy Bahama because he knows that one day he'll find something good to wear (a sensible polo shirt). He also eats almost exclusively at the buffet so maybe they've even crossed paths there and then had a boys day Tommy Bahama shopping trip after, or vice versa.

Sharkey yes lmfao. I love every part of this. They need to have a thread sometime where Nobunaga slowly accepts putting his armor and swords and gun nearby and trying out the hot tub. And then maybe he can be convinced to stash them safely out of steam and try a sauna. WILD.

Also the first time Sharky brings the boombox to the buffet a time Nobunaga is there, he's gonna get PESTERED with "what's this. What's the song? Who sings it?" etc.

Sharkey's probably one of the few who chills Nobunaga out... which is so messed up since their main thread has been "yeah fuck cultists" but yolo.

and YES im so for that, sharky loves talking about music so he'd be glad to give huge lectures about the bands and songs and shit

you know what sometimes you gotta bond over weird shit!! it's funny b/c their conversation is probably the first time sharky's been openly bloodthirsty about hating cultists. he gets BITTER about it a lot but he doesn't often talk about his actions as if they were the right thing to do. so it's like "damn sharky, you a lil freaky after all huh" for me LMFAO

Imma be lazy and do both my people here. Maeve definitely keeps an eye out for Sharky at all costs b/c he's her mom friend. She may or may not come hang out in the hottub on occasion. Up in the air as to whether she goes with the skinny dipping, but she also cares not. Who has the time for shame? She doesn't know.

Maeve may learn some more music if they see each other at the buffet. Sorry for her asking five million questions about what things are and if she occasionally notices songs that the pianos at her brothel played. If he texts her, Maeve will probably respond.


UM. Klaus probably is also at the bars a lot, so they could run into each other there sometimes. He will share whatever random shit his brain comes up with. Like sorry about it? Now that they've already done skinny dipping, he probably is pretty chill about hottub skinny dipping.

I said something about him sometimes being in there to watch people play arcade games, but you know. He may eventually play some stuff that doesn't take too much effort? They didn't get to do too much of this stuff when he was a kid except sometimes they snuck out for donuts and stuff? But you know. STUFF.

I'm happy to have them get up to whatever. Cause you know. THINGS.

I'M FOR ALL OF THIS lmfao i really like the different cr with maeve and klaus. sharky loves talking about music so he'll def answer any and all questions she asks, and klaus and sharky are a good mellow kinda "lets get casually drunk and overly personal with strangers" vibe hahaha

Shi Qingxuan and Sharky haven't threaded yet, but the idea of the two of them both late-night skinny dipping in the hot tubs is really amusing to me because Shi Qingxuan wouldn't be the least bit embarrassed to do it with and would treat it like a chill casual hangout. He also likes hanging around Hurikane and wandering around Infinite Tommy Bahama in hopes of finding something that looks good.

Handwaved casual acquaintances maybe? Shi Qingxuan is easygoing and friendly, so he'd definitely chat.
