ANNOUNCEMENT: WE KNOW BY NOW THAT TIME KNOWS HOW TO FLY
previously on Smallville, Sparkles just so happened to find a space probe that Ari and her merry crew will use to send a message outside of the Captain’s realm. they will accomplish this in November through that month’s event, which is still under the works and will come when Ari’s mun is finished designing it! I just wanted to get that out of the way so I could make my own announcement.
November will be the last month to submit both AC and bonus AC. this is because I will be absent for the large part of December, where you will have an event run in the safe hands of Meghan, and because, starting on my return in January, Come Sail Away will be entering its endgame plot.
when I started this game, there was one thing I knew for sure: I wanted it to actually have an end, like a good game, not just peter off into meaninglessness, like other games. also, after a decade, I’m headed back to college to actually finish my undergrad! in either the spring or fall, so. I decided to work on it. I waited for the idea to come to me, and, at last, during a shower maybe a month and a half ago, it did. I think you guys are gonna like it, personally!
what does that mean right now? not too much; the most dramatic changes will be coming in January and February. (AND THE CHANGES WILL BE VERY DRAMATIC!) there’s a few things, in addition to the AC news above.
1. on November 1st, apps will be closing for new characters. previously apped characters from players of good standing are more than welcome to return for endgame. these apps will be accepted through January, and do not require you to actually reapp! you’ll just post like “hey pal” and you’ll be in.
2. endgame will kick off sometime in January and continue until it, y’know. ends. what does that mean? I don’t know. we’ll have to see what y’all do with what you’re given.
