Hello everyone! This is not your captain speaking, and I am in fact just some guy who's dragging a politician aboard this ship. My name is Syn, and I'm playing Ayato from the game Genshin Impact. He's a relatively new character if you don't include all the crumbs that were dropped about him pre-release, so in the interest of fairness to those who are interested in playing and/or aren't exactly caught up with the story, I'll be doing my part to keep threads as spoiler free as possible for a few months or so.
That being said, let me jump into the cliffnotes of his character for those who are unfamiliar with Ayato as a whole. To start with, he's a relatively important figure in Inazuman politics, as he is the head of the Kamisato Clan and leader of the Yashiro Commission. As all good politicians have, he's mastered the art of talking a lot while saying nothing at all, and getting an accurate read on him can be more than a little difficult at times. He's also not above blackmail or manipulation tactics, though you can count yourself relatively safe so long as you aren't directly threatening those he cares for. Otherwise he's quiet and mostly prefers to keep to himself, and hates being the center of attention. He also can't cook, so if he tries to feed you something, run.
This is my... Second? DW game ever? And I'm looking forward to writing with all of you! You can find me at
NeoSin (where I store all my Genshin lore rants) or in the game discord, which I will be joining shortly! ^^

It’s absolutely a coin toss which way they’ll go! Ed has been somewhat surprising in that regard, but I guess it just depends.
I look forward to threading too! I’ve been very slow lately but feel free to hit me on plurk if you wanna discuss anything!
