+1 Gentleman Scientist

Hello! I'm Bastion's player Cameo, and I'm bringing in Wilson from the 2013 survival video game Don't Starve.

He's from the middle of the Don't Starve Together part of his canon, so he's gone through the Adventure Mode singleplayer storyline, freed the main villain of the first game slash brought him down to the level of a normal survivor, ruled over an entire dimension for about five very uncomfortable minutes, and has been marked by the eldritch shadow entities known only as “Them”. His canon is quite jamjar-like in its own right, having already snatched him from his home in 1921 New England and several other people from the early twentieth century with names starting with W and forced them to camp out in a magical monster-filled wilderness. That was a while ago; immediately before he woke up here, he saw a chunk of the moon fall off and crash into the sea, and was washed away by the ensuing tidal wave.

He hates magic and refuses to admit that it's real, by the way. Ghosts too. He's gonna have a great time here! :D The food's better and his chances of dying aren't any worse. Also he's died hundreds of times before he came here, and he can't make his own resurrection items on the Serena Eterna. He doesn't look undead or heavily battle-scarred, though, he looks like a fairly normal old-timey guy with weird hair (he's very proud of his hair) who's been living rough for a month or two and has forgotten the last time he had a good night's sleep.

He's not actually that good at science, although he's adequate with laboratory chemistry and has a mostly-self-taught jack-of-all-trades knowledge of several other subjects; being a scientist is more a state of mind than a set of credentials for him. He's also pretty rude (although he means well) and while he does come from money he's not a titled aristocrat, so the 'gentleman' part is pretty misleading too. It just means that he funded his own research.
