Hey!
My name is Duke (they/them) and I am bringing in Blackbeard from the romantic comedy hit Our Flag Means Death! He is the Blackbeard, the legendary pirate, and he knows he's a big deal. He will NOT introduce himself to you as Edward Teach. Only his short king can call him that thx 💅
He is from the end of the first season and [SPOILERS]is in his angsty break-up phase✨️[END SPOILERS] so he is darker, meaner, missing his beard, and more terrible than any Blackbeard you've met (he's like The Joker for gay people), which I hear a lot of you have. Speaking of, it is really, really, really exhausting for me to have to play that conversation out over and over again, and I really would prefer to not have to do that, so unless you've spoken to me oocly to set up some special kind of CR situation, I'd really appreciate us just skipping it entirely.
Trigger warnings for this character include: swearing, excessive violence- including murder and cannibalism, depression/mental illness, childhood trauma/abuse, and if I forgot anything else I'll uh... specify where necessary. Trigger warnings for me include: swearing, drug mentions, thirst-hours. Feel free to hit up my permissions page and opt-out of threading with me altogether if you need to.

Klaus has got you, buddy. Got you so much. Will absolutely braid your hair, tell you you're pretty, and paint your nails. Show you how to do an amazing smoky eye look. I'm Millisa and I have young spacer lieutenant Arilanna Tayrey here. She's very afraid of pirates and almost shot Stede when she met him (but she hasn't met any Blackbeards before so no worries there).
Hilariously, she quite likes Izzy 'Captain Hands' because she thinks he's sane and competent, and currently believes he's the captain of a merchant trading ship. So we might get to have some fun with that in future. :D
