I think it's less about the stuff and more about what the stuff means to you, specifically? Or like, what poetry you can spin about it. Such as, the asphalt thing was because it was "taking a piece of the labor put into the making of my home."

Handmade stuff usually works well too. Like maple syrup you got yourself from the tree. The more time you give away to it the better.

Damn. Like I kinda get it but also.. there's something real fucked up about all that. Like the whole concept of taking a piece of what makes you you.

I don't think I'd want the super high as balls trip that bad.
