yes, in the infinite vastness of everything, i do think there's versions of us, worrying over such mundanities as college applications and bills and... i don't know, lawn maintenance. i hope they're happy. maybe i envy that sometimes, but no, i wouldn't trade it for who we are. our existence might be fleeting, and full of pain, but that's what gives what we have its meaning.

i'd maybe have a dog though. and work as a flight attendant. or have a booth at the farmers market where i sell jars of honey.
