Hello hello all, wwwayfarer here, player of Aiden, bringing my second: Phil Connors from Groundhog Day the Musical, which has zero right being as well-made as it is and is something all of you should at least take a peek at. Cmaaahhnnnn there's even video bootlegs uploaded on Youtube.

He's basically a middle aged guy who was self-actualized against his will into a loving, well-rounded, genuine, and earnest individual by reliving the same exact day over and over for an indeterminate number of decades. He's still a guy who's a little crass at even the best of times, but he's now become a Very Stable Individual who has Learned His Lesson about Loving Life, EXCEPT...

... this is his second kidnapping rodeo and he's none too pleased about that. He's a CRAU from Prismatica, which means he sports a big fat pair of owl wings because magic moon bullshit and he's sick of it, and sick of being away from home, especially when he doesn't even get health insurance here. but at least the drinks are free???

I did not know that movie got a musical. That is fascinating. Also, after his first death here, Phil's going to be wishing he bought that life insurance policy.

It did! It won a bunch of accolades in London and came to Broadway. If I can gush a bit, the guy who wrote the script is the guy who came up with the original screenplay, so it's very much a revisiting of his own work and it really shows. IMO it genuinely eclipses the original in a lot of ways. Between this and the VR game sequel, GHD seriously hit the jackpot of adaptations.

He will, but also money's fake here, so what does it matter anyway if he can't commit life insurance fraud? LOL
