From what he can see where he's standing, her cabin layout and decor is quite similar if not identical to his, so he thinks it's safe to assume they're all much of the same in there. Won't really help if you end up in the wrong room somehow. But at least if you get to know your own room well, you can be resourceful if you end up in someone else's and need to put up a fight.
