There's nothing but bone, which is why his fingers probably shouldn't just bend and move like normal, living fingers might. It feels... the same as regular bones do, with no thrumming energy or other indication towards some kind of energy field.

For his part, Skulduggery's just glad none of his fingers are getting summarily ripped from his body. That hasn't happened yet, but it's really only a matter of time.
