Oh, um. Just this book series that was popular in my time, about teens in some hell world being chosen every year to fight each other to the death. They had a bunch of them, and then the movies came out, and everyone totally missed the messaging about the horrors of late-stage capitalism and tried to advertise like, sandwiches you'd totally fight for or make-up that made you look like the super rich game runners.

A-Anyways... I can imagine it's rough. Getting to know people here and all... it's something you have to do, I know, but it might almost be less painful not knowing how good people are here.
