This is the second guy he's seen today that's been trying to talk to the shadows. Is there something that he's missing here? Should he be trying to communicate with them? He hasn't seen any responses so maybe not?

He's wearing a black leather jumpsuit with its sleeves tied around his waist, a t-shirt with its sleeves cut off and sides ripped into a tanktop keeping him decent.
