skulduggery's skeleton self cropping up in pretty much any of these is 100% gonna be fucky in the best way no matter what. this coupled with skuls & jade child-bullying shenans would be splendid lmao, which does narrow us down to the three childhood options...! so between those three ig either kid jade doing his monster-hunting or adolescent jade on the daath pilgrimage would be the most viable bets...monster-hunting probably having the easiest potential bully hooks i'd imagine?? this child did not get chided enough for mucking around in creature corpses on the outskirts of town smh

and actually honestly even though i was leaning towards sail!jade not being present for the nebilim accident when i wrote this plot post, i could actually even envision dropping him in at a possible later point in the memory as opposed to him accompanying skully right away if we were to swing for that one?? since cruisie has confirmed chars can pop into the same memory and eventually bump into each other through different rifts/points on the map. one the one hand: fun occasion for skully to acquire the lore on jade's necromancer origins! BUT on the other hand: it'd probably be less fun bullying and more dramatic damage control for jade and skuls at that point too depending on how it unfolds haha ha, weighs hands...
