I've got three ideas and they're all pretty nebulous and open-ended. I'd like to thread 'em, but it's possible I won't have the energy to do full threads, we'll see when we get there.
An Omnic Crisis Battle: Human army vs robot army trying to kill each other somewhere in southern Germany. Adult-sized humans will be assumed to be fighting on the side of the human army if the omnics notice them; animals, small children, and nonhumans whose body shape or heat signature rule out humans in disguises are sufficiently low-priority targets that they'll be ignored unless there are no plausible human combatants left alive or they attack an omnic in a way that could actually damage them.
Wandering around in the Black Forest with all the dead Bastion units and also Ganymede is there: A melancholy day in the life set sometime after The Last Bastion, so the mid-2060s or so. Memory Bastion will be more jittery than they are now but will not immediately shoot human visitors. Also you can meet their bird friend!
I might do a third one that takes place during the first part of their comic with Torbjörn, where they walk out of the sea one night and spook some Swedish teenagers, maybe carrying over to people fearfully watching them from a distance the next morning. Playing out the entire comic doesn't really interest me though so I'd probably end the memory at that point.
