Gideon blinks blurrily at the man who sets up across from her, his hands moving like a magicians as he produces his own concoction. Unlike Gideon's attempts, this one isn't muddy or yet another shade of brown. She looks at it for a good while before reaching out to take it. It's pretty, like the way the sun was when it was covered enough by clouds that Gideon could look at it without scorching her eyes out.

"Bottoms up!" She says with a grin and tips it into her mouth-

And promptly spits the first mouthful over the table as the expected burning is replaced with a sudden, shocking sour taste. She clamps her mouth shut, and when she takes her next sip, Gideon chokes down the rest. The flavour is so powerful and unlike anything she's had before, and maybe she'll decide it's good later but for now, she feels like she's drinking a battery.
