He'd paused just inside the door on his way in for a cup of tea suddenly wary of a new face. Another new arrival? Just as interesting are those cards that gleam eerily in the light. He's been staring longer than intended. That much is clear when this new man raises his voice about it.

"I don't mean to be rude. You're new here, aren't you?" He either doesn't notice the flirt or pretends not to. His response is cordial, but there's no reciprocated warmth in it.
