truthfully jade had been the last person she had thought to see here, on a boat filled with tricks and faceless cruise directors. if someone from their world were to appear, she had assumed it would be of a far more sinister sort, an enemy long since passed. it would only be fitting for the haunted and dreary atmosphere she’s come to find.
but the fact that it was a trusted comrade, someone who she would admit to being a friend, was both a blessing as well as a concern. ]
