It's while Dave is sleeping somewhere out of the way--perhaps behind the chair in a lounge or in the Calgona spa, that there will be first a feeling of c̵̡̭̟̮̄̄̑̑͠ó̸͔̯̓n̶̝͇̥͘͠c̴̹̹̮̟͊͗͠ẻ̸̬̳̠̥͌͊͝ȑ̶̪ņ̸͚̓̅̾ that passes relatively quickly as someone retreats, only to return a few minutes later to lay a weighted blanket on top of the empath.

The emotions are muted, but strong, like hearing an opera singer in the shower two floors above, singing in a foreign language.
