Necromancers can’t typically bring people back from the dead, for example. There are spirit-talkers, but revenants are unstable creatures, and they never stick around for long.” He gives a rueful smile. “I hope that isn’t too disappointing. I’m thinking of getting cards made up: Palamedes Sextus, Necromancer. But not that kind of necromancer.”
