Hmm... Mostly, there exists evil people, even beyond those we know in Terra. Evil people who want nothing more than to snuff out the good from even other worlds. I don't understand their minds well enough to tell you why, but, especially in this instance, sometimes those bad people have a lot of power. Power like this.
